Global Land Alliance celebrates International Womens day 2020 in recognizing the intersectional leadership and action of women globally for land and property recognition.

This year, Global Land Alliance highlights unintended consequences of land tenure formalization that impact women involved in informal unions. These women are often effectively ‘invisible’ and informal wife stands a high chance of being systematically left-out of the benefits of formalization.
