GLA and ILC Africa Formalize Collaboration in Nairobi

This week, Global Land Alliance’s Malcolm Childress and Christen Corcoran are in Nairobi, Kenya to formalize a collaboration with International Land Coalition Africa.

Today Malcolm Childress, GLA’s Executive Director and Audace Kubwimana, Africa Regional Coordinator of the International Land Coalition (ILC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding which makes official the organizations’ longstanding mutual effort to support and advocate for advancing gaps in land data and dialogues in the Sub-Saharan Africa.

Global Land Alliance and International Land Coalition Africa share a common mission to work with a wide array of groups to promote people-centered land governance in the service of socially inclusive and ecologically-grounded development through data which through collaboration, provide the opportunity for greater impact.

We look forward to working together in this next phase of collaboration to advocate for transparent, equitable and people centered land governance in the sub-continent and beyond.
